Old school "sweet pie"

I was privileged enough get to try this ricotta pie recipe from a friend at one of our Friends of Italy meetings. It was amazing so I asked for the recipe, of course. She made a copy of what had been in her recipe box for what I imagine was a very long time. The only way to post it was to either type it out or scan it...So, here it is.
