Friends of Italy

Just a quick note about our last meeting along with a few pics from my friend Peter Gallo. On the second Saturday of each month, our group, Triad Friends of Italy, gets together to hang out. Of course, anyone that knows Italians, knows that there will always be an abundance of food, wine, and noise. I believe the official Italian cooking motto is, "if there's not too much, there's not enough". I remember an Italian pastor we used to know once said, the only difference between an Italian funeral and an Italian wedding is that there's one less person at the funeral... Mostly true. Everyone brings something homemade, and it's always good.

So, yeah, there's always food and wine in plenty. Come on down!
