Follow up on Ode to Sriracha ( I just had to)

  • Bacon-Wrapped Squirrel with Sriracha Ranch Dip
    Ingredients

  • 1.25 lbs fresh squirrel meat, cut into tenders
  • 10 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup of ranch
  • 1 to 2 tsp sriracha sauce

  • Directions

  • Wrangle your squirrels into submission and prepare them for cooking.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wrap each squirrel tender with a slice of bacon. Secure the bacon around the squirrel with a toothpick if needed. Set aside on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake your bites in the oven until the bacon is crisp and browned! It should take about 25 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare your dipping sauce by mixing your ranch and Sriracha together. Let it sit in the fridge until you're ready to eat.
  • Once your bacon-wrapped squirrel cutlets are out of the oven, blot them with a paper towel and serve 'em up!

No, I have definitely not tried this...too good not to follow up with, though. Buon Appetito!
